Dear Students,

Our department has started off with the mission of raising individuals with ethical approach who are aware of the local, national and global problems in the social, political and administrative fields and are able to create alternative solutions to these problems as equipped with the qualifications required by the public sector, private sector and non-governmental organizations. With this mission, we aim to contribute to our country's reach to the level of contemporary civilization by raising individuals who are capable of researching, questioning and analytical thinking.

Our students of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration as graduating by well-equipped and qualified in the main branches of politics, administration, law, local governments, urbanization and environment thanks to the training they receive will be able to be employed and promoted in the professional careers within the public institutions such as district governor being in the first place, administrative judgeship, inspector, specialist and within the decision-making processes of local governments, multinational companies and non-governmental organizations. In addition to the undergraduate program in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, there is a graduate program in which our students are also offered the opportunity to continue their academic career in our department.

Our department, of which its basic principle is to train qualified people, consists of an academic staff with high level of corporate belonging and is open to innovations.
