The project titled “Determination of Legal Problems Experienced in the Management of Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorates and Their Impact on Service Delivery” (Project Number 125K220), in which our faculty member Prof. Dr. Orhan Veli ALICI is the project coordinator, has been accepted to be supported within the framework of TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support Module. The project aims to identify the problems experienced by Water and Sewerage Administrations, which provide services within the framework of Law No. 2560 dated 20 November 1981, and to analyze the impact of these problems on service delivery. Within the scope of the project, interviews will be conducted with Water and Sewerage Administration officials from seven different regions. After analyzing the impact of the identified legal problems on service delivery, solutions will be proposed to improve the service model in question. The final report will be shared with the General Directorate of Local Governments of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Local Government and Disaster Policies Board.
