In-Service Training on “Public Ethics and Ethical Principles of Conduct for Public Officials” Held for University Staff

An in-service training programme entitled “Public Ethics and Ethical Principles of Conduct for Public Officials” was organised for the academic and administrative staff of Tarsus University with the aim of developing and strengthening an ethical culture in public administration.

The training, held on 23 June 2026 at the Martyr First Lieutenant Ozan Olgu Köreke Conference Hall, was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Muhammet BANAZILI, a faculty member of our Faculty’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration.

The programme addressed the importance of ethical values in public services, the ethical responsibilities of public officials, ethical principles and standards of conduct, as well as the principles of accountability and integrity in public administration. The importance of an ethical culture in strengthening institutional structures and ensuring the effective and reliable delivery of public services was also emphasised.

The programme concluded after participants’ questions and comments were received.
