30 Mart 2026 Pazartesi
Our Research Assistant Ahmet Melihşah Çevlik recently conducted an academic visit to the Kenyatta University School of Law in Kenya from March 2nd to 27th, 2026, under the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility for Training program. During his visit, Çevlik closely followed the All Kenyan Moot Court Competition held between March 9th and 13th. By participating in various panels focusing on national security, AI and rights-based digital governance, gender-responsive lawmaking to combat digital violence, and the promotion of transparency and social justice, he gained firsthand insights into the socio-political and legal landscape of East Africa. In addition to observing several moot court rounds and the final hearing at the Supreme Court of Kenya, Çevlik engaged with students and faculty as a guest lecturer, delivering a classroom presentation and sharing academic perspectives. This mobility provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge on undergraduate education and judicial practices in Kenya while further strengthening international academic cooperation.
